Located in Astoria Queens , we at The Local Bar have been serving up Craft Beer since 2014. We offer a cozy indoor & outdoor space with an atmosphere that acts as a place for friends, wanderers, and adventurers to share a drink together as equals. With our carefully curated Cocktail menu & rotating Craft Beer list, you’re sure to be delighted with a new experience every time you visit.

PALE ALE
Characterized by floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney, resinous American hops, the American pale ale is a medium-bodied beer with low to medium caramel, and carries with it a toasted meltiness. Now sip it slowly and enjoy. Would you like another one?
STOUT
The head of a stout should be thick and is usually tan to brown. Its body should be very dark brown or black. Stouts are typically opaque but if any light does find its way through the beer should be clear. The nose should be grainy and can carry hints of coffee, chocolate, licorice, and molasses with no apparent hops
LAGER
Lagers are light, crisp, and refreshing in taste. They tend to be easier to drink than an ale, with a smooth and mellow finish. While the flavors are less robust and intricate, they are the more popular beer of choice in the states
INDIA PALE ALE
Characterized by floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney or resinous American-variety hop character, the IPA beer style is all about hop flavor, aroma and bitterness.
